A Punk museum in Iceland? It opens during Airwaves and who’ll be there – Living Not Beige Films, of course!

We’re looking forward to catching up with Dr Gunni at the opening, to see the goings on at the abandoned underground public toilets in the centre of Reykjavik that will shortly reopen as the museum.

Dr Gunni is, amongst other things, the author of Blue Eyed Pop – The History of Popular Music in Iceland (a copy of which is winging its way to Australia – thanks Morgan!). The English language book traces the history of Icelandic popular music and reflects Dr Gunni’s long connection with the Icelandic music scene.
